TERMS & CONDITIONS
Hereby Sarah and Glenn Braiden shall be known as The Owners.
The sending of any deposit money confirms your acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below.
Once the owners have confirmed the booking to you and you have paid a deposit, the named Head of Party will be responsible for the total rental price of the property, as agreed on the confirmation. The remaining balance of the agreed rental cost must be paid 8 weeks prior to your departure. If the full balance of the rental cost is not paid as in accordance with these booking conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit as a cancellation penalty.
Breakage Deposit
The security bond of £250/$350 paid at the same time as your balance will be returned within 2/3 weeks after the end of the holiday rental period provided that:-
The villa is left in a clean and tidy condition.
The villa is vacated by the specified and agreed time.
Keys provided are left in the key box.
There is no damage to the villa and its contents.
It is the guest’s responsibility to inform the Management Company immediately of any damage or problems found on their arrival at the villa.
The owners or their Management Company shall be allowed access at any reasonable time during your stay.
CANCELLATION.
In the event that you need to cancel your booking before the start of your holiday then the following charges must be applied:
Providing the owners receive written notice of cancellation not less than 8 weeks prior to the actual booking date, the Head of Party will not be liable to pay the full balance. It is the responsibility of the Head of Party to ensure that the signed cancellation letter reaches the owner. Email cancellations are not acceptable. The reservation deposit will be forfeited.
If the cancellation is received within 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday the Head of Party is liable to pay the full balance of the final invoice. If the owners are successful in re letting the property for all or part of the reservation period, the full balance or the part balance of the final invoice will be refunded.
In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control necessitate cancellation of the booking, we will refund any monies paid to the Head of Party. (Without interest, compensation or consequential loss of any kind).
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE.
Arrival should be after 4pm local time. The property should be vacated by 11am on day of departure to give sufficient time for the cleaning of the property before the arrival of the next guests. Only by special arrangement could we consider a variation to these times.
Liability.
The owners and the Management Company of the property accept no responsibility whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal belongings however caused. The use of all accommodations and amenities including the pool is entirely at the user's own risk. Children must be supervised by responsible adults at all times when using the pool. Glass or crockery is not permitted within the pool area. The owners or Management Company cannot accept any liability for any loss of rental time due to travel problem, flight delays or cancellations, industrial disputes or any events outside our control, including any form of Force Majeure. The owners and the Management Company cannot accept responsibility for the sudden failure of villa equipment but will take immediate reasonable action to rectify any such failure upon notification by the guests. If the pool heater cannot reach optimum temperature due to adverse cold weather conditions the owners or the Management Company cannot accept liability.
NO SMOKING.
As the villa may be rented by people with allergies and we would like to keep it sweet smelling, we politely request that should you wish to smoke, then you do so in the external areas.
CONDUCT.
Watersong is a residential community. The actions of all members of your party should not interfere with the enjoyment of either other holidaymakers or the residents of Watersong. Please do not use the swimming pool, play loud music or engage in any activity which may cause inconvenience to your neighbours after 10.30pm or before 07.30am. In the event that any member of your party behaves in a way that is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any other holidaymakers or residents of Watersong or damage to any property, the owners or their Management Company reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement immediately and forthwith. The owners or their Management Company will not be liable for any costs you will incur, nor shall we pay any compensation, nor make any refunds.
Having said all of that, we have NEVER had to implement any of the above terms but we have to cover ourselves. So please.......
